Founded Platypus Media (formerly Customized Marketing Solutions) to build a different kind of agency: one that earns trust by staying small and doing premium work. Over 3 years in, the principle hasn't changed: take on a handful of clients, treat the work like it's mine, and stay close enough to the details that nothing slips. When a project needs a specialist I don't have in-house, I bring in a vetted partner I've worked with before: never a stranger, never a subcontracted handoff.
I moved to Gainesville, FL with my children in the fall of 2016 to help plant a church. My identity as a follower of Jesus is the most important part of who I am, and I want my life to be about His work, even in my secular vocation. I hope to one day serve as a missionary in Central America.
I love to travel, hike in nature, drink copious amounts of delicious coffee (black is the only proper way), and learn new things. I'm a renaissance man.
